Chrome extension for phishing & deception detection in Gmail
Nexara runs as a browser extension that monitors Gmail in real time. It detects phishing, brand impersonation, typosquatting, suspicious links, and malicious attachments — all locally, no cloud dependency.

Download the extension files from the link below. The package contains
manifest.json, background.js, content.js, and supporting files.2
In Chrome, open chrome://extensions and enable Developer mode (top right toggle).

Click Load unpacked and select the extension folder. The Nexara shield icon will appear in your toolbar.

Click the Nexara icon — enter your name and paste the same activation key you used to log into this platform. The extension uses the same key and the same 1-month expiry — when the key is renewed on the platform, paste the new one here too.

Open Gmail and click any email. Click the Nexara icon and press Scan Email — phishing reports appear automatically in Threat Reports on {% if node_mode == 'hub' %}this hub dashboard{% else %}the IT hub dashboard{% endif %}.

My license expired — what do I do?
Contact support using the form above with subject "Renewal request". Include your company name and the renewal period you need.
Can multiple people use the same Nexara?
Yes — your whole team connects to the same running instance at http://localhost:5001. Each person gets their own login. One license = one running instance, unlimited browser connections to it.
How do I update Nexara?
When an update is available, a banner appears at the top of your dashboard. Click "Install Update" — Nexara updates and restarts itself automatically.
Where is my data stored?
Everything stays on your machine in cyberplatform.db — no data is sent to any server. Nexara runs fully offline.
